A2O - Walk-In Wonders - Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Welcome
Arrive at our Twizel base for a full gear check and bike fitting. Meet your guides and fellow travelers for a gourmet welcome dinner overlooking the lake.
Day 2: The High Ridges
Pedal through golden tussock lands before a steady climb to the ridgeline. Enjoy a packed picnic lunch with 360-degree views of the Southern Alps and valley floor.
Day 3: River Crossings
Descend into the heart of the park, following the glacial river through ancient beech forests. Cross suspension bridges and stop for photos at hidden turquoise swimming holes.
Day 4: The Summit Reach
Ascend to the trail's highest point for breathtaking 360-degree views. Enjoy a catered sunset picnic at the peak before a short descent to our mountain lodge.
Day 5: Descent & Departure
Enjoy a gentle ride through rolling meadows as we return to civilization. Finish with a group celebration lunch before your shuttle transfer to the airport.
